Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including Ayurvedic product manufacturing, bakery operations, warehouse management, quality assurance processes, cost optimization, and supply chain management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and improve overall efficiency across all operational areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between production, procurement, quality control, logistics, warehouse management, and supply chain management.
2. Factory and Bakery Management:
- Manage the entire manufacturing facility, including production lines, equipment, and resources, to meet production targets and quality standards for both Ayurvedic products and bakery items.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and quality assurance standards, for both manufacturing and bakery operations.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes in the bakery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
3. Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse management strategies to optimize space utilization, streamline inventory movement, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement appropriate inventory control measures, such as FIFO (First In, First Out), to minimize product expiry, loss, or obsolescence.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control systems throughout the production processes for both Ayurvedic products and bakery items.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, including product testing, inspection, and documentation, to guarantee consistent quality in both manufacturing and bakery operations.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards, identify deviations, recommend corrective actions, and track their implementation.
5. Cost Optimization:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across all operational areas, including manufacturing, bakery operations, warehouse management, and supply chain management.
- Analyze operational expenses, identify cost drivers, and develop cost reduction strategies without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize material costs and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
6. Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure timely availability of raw materials, optimize production scheduling, and meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners to streamline supply chain processes, minimize lead times, and optimize transportation costs.
7. Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of production staff, bakery staff, warehouse personnel, quality control technicians, and supply chain professionals.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure a high level of performance and productivity across all operational areas.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and continuous learning and development in all operational teams.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and implement strategies for employee motivation and retention.
8. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational optimization in manufacturing, bakery operations, warehouse management, quality assurance, and supply chain management.
- Analyze production data, bakery performance metrics, warehouse KPIs, and supply chain metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, warehouse optimization strategies, and supply chain best practices to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
